APPLE HILL FUN

It is that wonderful time of year that we get to enjoy Apple Hill. For those new to the area, you can check out the website to get an idea of all the fun places you can go there.

I thought this would be a good opportunity for people to let us know their favorite Apple Hill spots to go to. This might help narrow it down. Please comment with any input, good or bad, you have on some of the apple hill locations. Thank You.!

Our annual tradition includes going first thing in the morning to Plubell's Family Orchard where they have a cute little petting zoo and corn maze and a fun tire swing that the kids love. Then we head over to Abel's Apple Acres for pony rides, carmel apples, and fudge. After that, we always have to stop at In n Out on our way home. Very fun!

First stop for us is always Plubell's for the tire swing, petting zoo, Cinderella and ghost pumpkins, crafts, entertainment, and photo ops. Next, we love Goyette's for picking apples (great Fuji and Granny Smiths!) and pumpkins. Our last stop is usually Kid's Inc. for all the yummy desserts and the huge hill to roll down and the fun, live music! We like to finish off our day by going to Los Hermanos in Pollock Pines for great Mexican food! Enjoy! ~Nancy

We love Rainbow for their donuts (Thanks to the Galovan's for introducing us to this one!) They are so fresh you often have to wait for the next batch. They donuts freeze well too! I think they are also one of the very few that make their OWN cider. YUM!

Plubell's and High Hill are also favorites. We try to do High Hill as early as possible since it gets so crowded.

I wish I could go but I hate the crowds. I love the calendar feature. How the heck did you put it on the blog? I have been trying to figure it out.

We usually start at Denver Dans. They have a large variety of u-pick for the kids. Also, samples from some kind of contraption that skins the apples. They also have the BEST homemade frozen dutch apple pies!! We also enjoy Plubells as has been mentioned. High Hill is fun, but definitely crowded. We finish off at Abel's Acres (we discovered the absolute best caramel apples there: apple pie caramel apples!!). Abel's also has some stuff for the kids like a hay maze, but it does cost.

We also love Plubell and High Hill. Julie gave us the idea to try Rainbow donuts and they are the best! We always do that first as well!!

We go to High Hill every year. They have a fishing pond, hay rides, horse rides, a pumpkin farm, a fudge shop, apple donuts, pies, shops, etc.

We love High Hill, Abel's Acres, and Rainbow donuts. Denver Dans had good pies also. I think it's also Boa Vista Orchards we love because of their homemade corndogs. Yum!
