We love ethnic food and trying new places.
Taj India is our FAVORITE Indian. It's by the DMV. Must try the Kabli Naan...Just as good as The Bombay House in SLC and Provo.

Pho Bac is good Vietnamese (next to Big 5), but our favorite is Rice Noodles in Sacramento on Arden Way. (It's a hole in the wall, but so good!)

Just discovered Emperor's Garden for cheap Chinese. Next to the Folsom Century Theaters/Chili's. Love their Chow Fun. Fat's is our favorite chinese, but can't always afford it.

Ad Alberto's is one of our favorite Mexican. On Greenback and Hazel (just past Hazel intersection), also on Bradshaw S. of Hwy 50, and Madison and Dewey. It's cheap, 24 hrs, drive-thru, takes credit cards.
In Folsom, La Fiesta Taqueria on E. Bidwell across from OSH, is another favorite Mexican.

The Thai place in EDH by the Regal Theaters and Strings is good. We liked Thai Siam better in Old Folsom next to Zinfanel Grill, but they changed owners and we haven't liked it as much since.

Always love Scott's Seafood for special occasions and I am not a typical fish lover.

Usually spend our Anniversary dinners at Slocum House in Fair Oaks. It's Anniversary priced, but in the warm months, call for a reservation on the patio and listen to the live music and watch the roosters and chickens roam.

I could go on... now I'm hungry!

My husband and I love Mexican food and we found a Taqueria that reminds us of the Taquerias that we used to frequent in the Bay Area.

Our favorite mexican restaurant here in Folsom is Alejandro's Taqueria, located on 1169 Riley Street. It hasn't been opened very long. But, they have another taqueira restaurant in downtown Sacramento that is always packed, lines that go out of the restaurant. So, of course we were excited when we found out that they opened another restaurant here in Folsom

Alejandro's Taqueria food is delicious, HUGE burritos (I never finish mine) and the prices are very affordable.

We have gone there for lunch and breakfast. I love their breakfast burritos! One of my favorites is the bacon, egg(scrambled)and cheddar cheese burrito. My husband loves the chorizo egg burrito.

So, if you ever feel like having Mexican or want to go out for breakfast, try Alejandro's Taqueria.

We went to dinner without the kids to a new place called Granitos. It is right by the Bidwell St. Bistro. It is Italian, and it is the type of place where you actually get to "dine" and not get served all your food at once. Service was great and the prices are normal too. It was soo good, you must try! They serve lunch too.

I have to second the Alejandro's Taqueria. They make great burritos! The thing we always get is the super burrito, but instead of the salsa they put in it, substitute enchilada sauce. Wicked good!

And as an added bonus, chip and salsa bar with fountain drinks! Great place to hang out. You can eat inside or outside.

We found THE best Chinese food. It's called Hop Sing Palace at 805 Sutter Street. We are pretty picky about our Chinese food and wee very impressed with this restaurant. They have takeout and dine in. You'll love it!
