Do you have a grain mills/wheat grinder? If you do, is it electric or hand-crank? How does it work for you?
Please comment here if you have one and how it works. This information can help people know about various models out there and also let people know where they can go to grind their wheat. Maybe you can even note in the comments if you would allow sisters to stop by with their wheat to grind??? Any information is helpful. Thank You.

I have the whisper mill and I like it. It is still noisy (I keep it in my pantry and close the door when I grind), but I hear that it is much quieter then most.
I have a Whisper Mill as well - they've changed the name and now it's called the Wonder Mill (maybe because "whisper" may have been somewhat of a misnomer). But no wheat grinder I've ever seen is very quiet, and this is quieter than many others. This is really a good mill and we have been happy with it. I am willing to *occasionally* have people come over with their wheat and grind some flour. Just give me a call! You can buy your own Wonder Mill from Emergency Essentials for $240. I have a whisper mill too (got it on craigslist for $100 a few years ago). Runs great. Feel free to use it whenever (just call first).
I have a Nutrimill. I love it. Anyone can stop by to use it. (just call first)
I have the KitchenAid wheat grinder attachment, which works pretty well. It can only do about 10 cups at a time and is pretty slow, but much better than a hand crank! Come over anytime to use it or borrow for your KitchenAid mixer. Jennica
Hand Grinder. We have the "Back to Basics Hand Grain Mill." Very quiet, small and you get a mini workout on your arm. Not a big deal at all. Kids love to take turns on it. You could have enough flour for a loaf of bread in just 5-10 minutes. I've had it a long time, but I got it at beprepared.com and it's now $70.
